Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit slices. Slice the strawberries or alternative showcase fruit thinly so they are visible through the rice paper wrapper once rolled.
  2. Cut fruits into matchsticks. Slice the remaining fruits into matchsticks approximately 6 inches long to provide a crunchy texture inside the roll.
  3. Soften the rice paper. Pour hot water into a shallow plate carefully to avoid splashing. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the hot water for about 10 seconds, ensuring it is completely wet and pliable.
  4. Place the wrapper. Lay the softened rice paper flat on a clean plate or cutting board to prepare for filling.
  5. Fill the wrapper. Arrange several strawberry slices in the center of the wrapper. Then top with your matchstick fruit, adding as much as you like for thickness and flavor.
  6. Roll the spring roll. Fold one corner of the rice paper over the fruits, tuck in the sides carefully, and continue rolling tightly to form a neat roll.
