Seafood Mixture
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce and Cheese
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Other Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Cook Lasagna Noodles: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the noodles and set aside to cool slightly for easy handling.
- Prepare Seafood Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, half of the Alfredo sauce, and minced garlic. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, mixing gently until well incorporated.
- Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish to prevent sticking. Lay each cooked noodle flat, spread an even layer of the seafood mixture over it, then carefully roll up the noodle. Place each roll seam-side down into the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the assembled roll-ups. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top to create a rich, cheesy crust during baking.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the baking dish with foil to keep moisture in and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the roll-ups to cool for a few minutes to set. Garnish with fresh parsley for a burst of color and fresh flavor before serving warm.
Notes
- For best seafood flavor, use fresh cooked shrimp and lump crab meat.
- You can prepare the roll-ups a few hours ahead and refrigerate before baking.
- Use gluten-free noodles if you need a gluten-free version.
- Serve with a simple green salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated gently in the oven.
