A festive and delicious Turkey Cranberry Crescent Ring perfect for holiday gatherings or quick dinners. This easy-to-make ring features tender cooked turkey combined with tangy cranberry sauce, creamy cheese, and a hint of Dijon mustard, all wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough and baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

Crescent Dough

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Filling

  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. Prepare the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough packages and arrange the triangles in a circular pattern on the prepared baking sheet, overlapping the edges slightly. The pointed ends should face outward, creating a sunburst effect to form a ring shape.
  3. Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded or chopped cooked turkey, cranberry sauce, shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese, mayonnaise or cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Assemble the Ring: Spoon the turkey and cranberry mixture onto the wide ends of the crescent dough triangles in a circular mound. Carefully fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck them underneath the base of the ring to seal the edges and secure the filling inside.
  5. Bake: Place the assembled crescent ring in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through, and the filling is heated.
  6. Cool and Serve: Remove the crescent ring from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm as a festive appetizer or main dish.

Notes

  • You can substitute turkey with leftover chicken or ham if preferred.
  • For a creamier texture, use cream cheese instead of mayonnaise.
  • Make sure to seal the pointed ends well to prevent filling leakage during baking.
  • Serve with extra cranberry sauce or a light salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
